Brief Description: The Board of Trustees records trace the physical and philosophical development of the Houston Symphony. The Houston Symphony Orchestra Association was created in 1913, and officers and the first board of directors were elected at the organizational meeting. The records document the various policies and actions of the Houston Symphony Society. Included are meeting minutes of the board and of various committees, correspondence, board lists and directories, and Presidents’ records.
